Selling the First Shop.

As the web business gathered pace, and established itself as one of the most successful and recognized, my focus became very much web-driven.  To the point, in fact, that I decided to accept an offer for my first shop in Bexleyheath.  My baby was being sold!  This was primarily to free up time to concentrate on building and refining the website.  As usual, I’d become a bit bored with running traditional shops, so this was a great opportunity.  The buyer was introduced to all of my contacts, in order to ensure continuity of supply.  Basically, he was buying everything except the bagga brand name.  The tinge of sadness at parting with the keys after 10 years running the store was alleviated by the freedom to pursue the opportunity ahead.  With one little store in Chislehurst and a fast-growing web business, I could really focus again. The original store is still flourishing, and I’m still in regular contact with the owner.  It went to a good home!
